One dataset, different reporting populations

The Olist warehouse’s current version starts with 99,441 source orders. Its README reports 98,199 orders in headline reporting. Those figures describe different populations and should not be silently substituted for one another.

Two fact tables and four dimensions support the warehouse’s current reporting model. Stating the grain and reporting scope matters as much as choosing a chart.

The README alone does not explain every excluded order. A defensible reconciliation requires the ETL filters and validation output, not an invented explanation for the difference.
